Event Description

Fall Creek Vinyard's Grape Stomp and Harvest Festival !

Help bring in the 2012 harvest … Don’t miss this year’s 23rd Annual Fall Creek Vinyard's Grape Stomp and Harvest Festival on Saturday, August 18th.

The annual “Grape Stomp” is a traditional favorite; full of fun and activity for all ages! With great anticipation and excitement, families enjoy winery tours, live local music on the vineyard patio, Castle Bounce, a play house, hayrides, chain-saw ice carving.

And, of course, the excitement of your own “bare” feet grape stomping, “I Love Lucy”-style with the video playing, in wine barrels, all free of charge! If you''ve never had the experience of grapes squished between your toes, you don''t know what you''ve been missing.  After stomping, you can elect to have your purpley toes imprinted on one of the winery''s t-shirts

Don’t worry about the Texas heat, as all activities are either inside the winery or under shade tents or on the covered patio with misters to keep you cool. Additionally, Texas Culinary Academy students will be providing delectable Sandwiches and Sides, as well as Hot Dogs for the children on the patio for your dining pleasure and purchase amount of $ (benefiting 2 Culinary Student Fall Creek Vineyards Scholarships) for guests’ enjoyment embellished with a favorite Fall Creek Vineyards wine and live music.

Patio dining guests can also take home a free souvenir wine glass with a $4 wine tasting

For lunch, you can go with the demo lunch mentioned above or just buy your lunch out on the patio. Of course you can always bring your own lunch from home as well. We may go down to the lake and eat lunch under the shade of the trees while sampling some wine we picked up from their shop. This is where the lawn chairs would come in real handy.
