Zip Lining, Lake Travis Style! 

The Bucket List. You know the premise. Things you absolutely have to try before you kick the bucket. How about ziplining over a lake?!

PREPARE YOURSELF FOR THE ADVENTURE OF A LIFETIME!

Zipping across incredible Canyons and Lake Travis inlets, your Lake Travis Zipline experience offers unmatched Thrills and Chills!

The 2 1/2 hour Adventure has 7 zips ranging from 250 feet to over 2000 feet.  While waiting between each zip, you will enjoy amazing views of Lake Travis and the Texas Hill Country.  Your professionally trained tour guides offer education and fun throughout your challenging hikes and nature walks.  For the Grand Finale, Imagine launching off a Cliff 20 stories high and zipping over 2000 feet across beautiful Lake Travis.

Important Information

Is This Trip For You?

Participants must me in moderate to good shape physically.  Moderate to Vigorous physical activity will be endured during your tour while hiking the nature trails from zip to zip.

For Safety reasons, no one under 70 pounds or over 250 pounds will be allowed to participate in zipping activities.

Guide(s)
Our zipline tour guides all receive extensive training consisting of a multi-day, hands on course training of; on-course training, rescue training and technical book training.  Prior to receiving certification to work on the course, they must pass a written assessment test, an on-course practical assessment and rescue assessment.  All tour guides and crew personnel are First Aid and CPR certified.

Recommended Gear List

Participants should wear closed toe shoes with a heel strap. (No High Heels)  Tennis shoes or hiking boots work nicely.  Wear comfortable clothing, but avoid loose clothing (no scarves etc.).  Long hair needs to be tied back.  Please leave all jewelry and loose items in your vehicle.  Lake Travis Zipline Adventures is not responsible for property lost, damaged or stolen during your tour.

Also bring your swimsuits, sunscreen, floaties, lunch, drink (no bottles please) because we can hang out on the beach afterwards - eat lunch, drink, swim and chill!

IMPORTANT: To book your spot, please call 512-614-1996, give them your credit card info. and tell them that you are with the Hill Country Outdoors reservation. We're getting 10% off the normal rate - $80.

Price includes all necessary equipment, boat transportation, water and a light trail snack.  You also get access to their private beach where you can picnic, swim in the lake, play games, or just relax in one of the hammocks.

As a Reminder:
 
     -Arrive 30 minutes before your Departure Time.
     -Wear Closed Toed Shoes.  Hiking Boots or Tennis Shoes work nicely.
     -Dress comfortably, but avoid loose clothing. (No scarves, etc.)
     -Bring a swimsuit if you want to swim at the beach. 
     -Sunscreen and Sunglasses are advised.
     -If you need a hat, Ball Caps work well under the Helmets.
     -
     -If anyone in the group is under the age of 18, and not accompanied by a parent, please make sure that they visit www.ziplaketravis.com and print a waiver to be signed by their parents. In addition, we will need a copy of the parent’s driver license.
      -We ask that no one less than 70 lbs. or over 250 lbs. ride the ziplines for safety purposes.
 
We are often asked...How much should I tip my tour guide?
 
Our guides are professionally trained to ensure that you have an educational, enjoyable, and memorable experience. The tipping guideline is the industry standard of 10- 15% per person.
       
REMEMBER...Your Tour Package includes a day at our Private Beach!  We have Lounge Chairs, Picnic Tables, Shade Tents, Floaties, Beach Games and More.  You are welcome to bring Coolers and Picnic Baskets.  Our Boat Captains will assist you in setting up your Lake Site.  Should you bring alcoholic beverages, please consume them AFTER YOU ZIP.  NO GLASS CONTAINERS PLEASE!
