An Active Calendar
We have activities planned nearly every single day. On the weekends, there may be several events from which to choose. If you are looking to get active and out of the house, there is no shortage of activity here!
Meeting Great People
Tired of hanging out with the gang from the office? There's only so much office talk that you can take. Our members are just like you - people who want to meet others and become active in a variety of local social and outdoor activities. Members are educated, interesting, fun, and friendly professionals who enjoy being active both physically and socially. Our events always have great turnouts, and there are always new, fun people to meet.
Member Discounts
Hill Country Outdoors members enjoy discounts from a wide variety of local merchants on products and services that include outdoor gear, water sports, indoor and outdoor rock climbing, just to name a few. More companies and HCO benefits are added all the time.
Event Leaders
Hill Country Outdoors has several event leaders to make sure that there are plenty of events for members to choose from. Many of our members volunteer their time as event leaders to coordinate and lead events. This ensures a variety of activities. Our top priority is to make sure that there is always something fun going on. All you have to do is show up!
Newsletters, Updates and Reminders
Our weekly newsletters keep members well informed about all club news and upcoming events. Members also receive email reminders and updates for the events for which they have registered. Feel free to subscribe to our weekly newsletter by entering your email address on our home page.
Classifieds
We allow our members to post for free such things as "Seeking a Roommate", "Selling Equipment", or "Adopting a Dog" in our weekly newsletters and on the website. Only members may post classifieds, but all visitors to the site can view them.
Let's Get Real
We like to think of ourselves as a unique entity. We are not a singles club or a dating organization, yet we are not a "hard-core" outdoors group either. Our members join because they are interested in meeting new people and having fun by participating in interesting events and activities.
