HCO Helping Hands
Sure we like to have fun, but we also like to give back to the great community in which we're lucky enough to live. We take a hands-on approach to the causes we support. Over the years we've supported lots of worthy causes and really helped to make an impact. With our hundreds of members, we can mobilize a good size group to volunteer their time and effort. We try to post at least one volunteer outing per month on our calendar or events.
A few of our favorite charities and volunteer outings include:
- Habitat for Humanity
- Capital Area Food Bank
- Trail and Lake Cleanups
- Austin Parks Foundation
- People4People Games, benefitting the People's Community Clinic
- REI's Annual Service Project
- Runs and Bike Rides for Charity (i.e. MS150, Freescale Marathon, etc.)
