**This is the event to signup for if you will be coming out for camping on Saturday during the day and spending 1 night instead of both nights.  If you are coming both nights, please RSVP on the other event.

4th Annual Spooky Halloween Campout

Come out and join us for the 3rd annual Halloween Campout.  In 2009, Kieve led us on a great adventure at Garner State Park.  In 2010, we went to McKinney Falls State Park right here in Austin and it was a great time.  In 2011, we enjoyed Blanco State Park.  In 2012, we'll have quite the adventure at a Texas State Park TBD.

This campout is for those people who want to do something for Halloween, but aren''t interested in a party scene or even a costume....Sign up and come on out for a weekend of ghost stories, & other fun haunted holiday hoopla.

We'll have an enjoyable weekend getting out in the great outdoors and even though we'll be semi-close to Austin --- hopefully it will be a nice weekend getaway. I bet the weather will be perfect for some fall camping.

New in 2012 --- campsite decorating.  Please bring some halloween decorations to decorate our campsite and/or your tent!  We want to have the most festive campsites at the park!

This is a $15.00 prepay (covers campsite reservations for Saturday ONLY as well as food on Saturday night).  There will also be an entrance fee which you''ll have to pay upon arrival (if you don''t have a State Parks Pass).  I''ll be cooking up dinner on Saturday night (TBD).  Breakfasts and Lunches will be on your own.  

You''ll need to bring your own camping gear, lunches, snacks, and drinks.  If you have firewood (or are willing to get some) this would be a great help for our campfire (assuming there is no burn ban).  If so, please leave that in your comments.   

The schedule for the ENTIRE weekend is as follows:

Friday Night - Meet at the park when you can.  Carpools can be set up closer to the event but since most people will be arriving after work - i''ll leave the time for meeting as TBD.  I''m planning on being out there in the mid-late afternoon.  If you are going earlier than that - please let me know.  Otherwise i''ll just see everyone on Friday night.  Dinner will be around 8pm on Friday night.

Saturday - TBD

Sunday - After breakfast we'll pack up to leave.  We don't have to checkout of our campsites until 2pm, so for those who want to linger around they can.
